Archbishop Wuerl is coming to St. Edward's for the 5:30pm Mass on Saturday, May 17 to help celebrate Father Barry's 20th Anniversary to the Priesthood.  The whole parish is invited!

There will be a reception following the Mass.  At the reception, we would like to celebrate the diversity of our parish.  Since Pentecost Sunday is on Mother's Day, we will not be having our annual International Festival.  Instead, we would like for parishioners to donate International Finger Foods for the reception (We plan to have the reception outdoors, so we won’t have electrical outlets). Please let us know if you will be contributing a food from your native country or any other finger food by calling the Church Office (301) 249-9199, e-mail stec@stedwardbowie.org or you can call Maureen Curtis at 301 249-5473, e-mail mcurtis@stedwardbowie.org. In order for us to plan properly please respond by Sunday, May 11.
