Music Ministry
Cantors: Cantors are visible leaders in our liturgies who possess the tools to lead prayer and worship through our liturgies. They are responsible for inviting the assembly to worship, proclaiming the Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation and leading the assembly in song as well as teaching them new music such as mass parts or hymns. Cantors are expected to attend the cantor workshop the first Wednesday of each month from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. and can schedule additional practice time on any other Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. by contacting the music director or assistant music director.
Accompanists: Accomplished organist/pianist who can accompany cantors/choir with good sight reading skills and knowledge of varying styles of music including traditional, contemporary, gospel and octavos for Holy Days and Sacrament celebrations.
Adult Choir: Singers and instrumentalists are needed. We minister at the 2nd and 4th 9:30 a.m. and 1st and 3rd 11:30 a.m. Sunday Masses from September through May. Rehearsals are on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. We also minister on select Holy Days and Sacrament celebrations.
Contemporary Group: Singers/musicians are needed. We minister at the 2nd and 4th 11:30 a.m. Sunday Masses from September through May. Rehearsals are on Monday from 7:30-9:00 p.m. We also minister on select Holy Days and Sacrament celebrations. Auditions are required.
Children's Choir: Singers and instrumentalists are needed. We minister on the 1st and 3rd Sunday 9:30 a.m. mass from September through May. Rehearsals are on Monday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Children's choir combines with the Teen Choir on select Holy Days and Sacrament celebrations.
Teen Choir: Singers and instrumentalists are needed. We minister on the 3rd Saturday 5:30 p.m. mass and the 4th Sunday 6:30 p.m. mass (youth group meeting afterwards) from September through May. Rehearsals are on Monday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The Teen Choir combines with the Adult Choir or Children's Choir for select Holy Days and Sacrament celebrations.
Conmigos Choir - We minister on the 1st and 2nd Saturday 5:30 p.m. mass and on the 4th Sunday 4:30 pm, Filipino mass. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays and Fridays.
